Children, as they say, are the leaders of tomorrow. One thing we expect from our leaders is the ability to argue issues and look at them from all sides so as to find the best solutions to problems. We are proud we guide our students in gaining such skills which is why on the 16th of March, 2019, Alex Shelyag, Oleg Yevtushenko and Amal Adylov, all from the 8th grade took part in an inter-school debate at Stupeni Lyceum. The topic was, ’National military service ought to be compulsory’. This was a debate for high schoolers which means our students were going up against students who have more experience and have studied more than them, but putting aside their fear they accepted the challenge and we are pleased to announce that Alex Shelyag won all three rounds of his debates and won a prize. Oleg and Amal each won a round. This is no small achievement as this was their first time. Middle school is proud of you!
