March 13, 2018 our former student Tanya Lukyanova made a great presentation sharing her experiences of studying and living abroad. She graduated from New York University Tisch School of Arts with a degree in Film and Television, concentrating in writing and directing. She works as a television producer at a documentary production company in New York City, as well as covers US politics and the United Nations for Sputnik News. Most recently, she has started doing stand up in New York. Tanya wrote and directed several short films that took part in festivals. “Frank and Lousia” went to Cannes Short Film Corner in 2014; “Bigger Than Fiction” had a world premiere at New York Short Film Festival. Our students were really impressed by Tanya’s achievements and her charismatic personality. So, they asked her a lot of questions about her life in New York, career, favorite celebrities, Russian holidays and even about politics.
We kindly thank Tanya for coming and hope to see her again.
