Easter egg hunts are a great time for kids and the perfect way to kick off the spring season. Our school’s annual Easter egg hunt took place on Monday, April, 19. The first graders were asked to help the Easter Bunny find his lost eggs that he usually puts on the Easter tree. Within nearly an hour the kids were busy decorating Easter eggs, solving themed Easter riddles, running an Easter Egg relay race, fishing for eggs, learning an Easter song. At the end the Easter Bunny was so happy to have his eggs back that he treated everyone with his favourite desert —yummy chocolate eggs! All in all, it was a fun party and an egg-cellent time to celebrate spring finally being here!
